Ingredients

3 Tbsp. chocolate chips
1/3 c. water (boiling)
3 eggs
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. granulated sugar replacement
2 Tbsp. vegetable shortening, melted
1 (8-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Melt chips in boiling water; set aside to cool.
Beat eggs. Blend in cornstarch and sugar replacement.
Continue beating and add the shortening and gradually the chocolate mixture.
Pour into the pie shell.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 35 minutes or until custard is set.
