Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round or rump steak (1 1/2-inches thick)
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
3 large onions, thinly sliced
1 stalk celery, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. oil
1 medium green pepper, sliced
Preparation

Trim excess fat from meat.
Combine flour, salt and pepper. Lay meat on board; sprinkle with half of flour mixture.
Pound into meat on both sides of meat until all flour is used.
Meat may be cut in strips or left whole and cut later.
