Marinated Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. water
    2 (16 oz.) cans green beans
    2 medium onions, thinly sliced and separated into rings
Preparation
    Combine sugar, vinegar, oil and water in a medium saucepan. Boil for 2 minutes.
    Combine beans and onion rings; add hot marinade.
    Set aside to cool.
    Refrigerate and marinate at least overnight.
    Yield:
    6 to 8 servings.
    Excellent for low-fat diets.
