Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 Tbsp. molasses
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk with 1 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs, cocoa, molasses, cinnamon, cloves and salt.
    Add buttermilk.
    Add flour and mix well.
    Makes a 2 layer round cake or a loaf cake.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes for layer, a little longer for loaf.
