Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bag frozen hash brown potatoes
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 small onion, chopped
    16 oz. sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. corn flakes
    1/2 c. margarine, divided
Preparation
    Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Melt margarine (reserve 1/4 cup). Mix other 1/4 cup margarine, salt, onion, sour cream, soup and cheese in pan until cheese melts.
    Put hash browns in pan.
    Pour cheese mixture over hash browns.
    Cover with crushed corn flakes and pour remaining margarine over all.
    Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
