Ingredients

2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt (optional)
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate mini chips (12 oz.)
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine flour, salt and baking soda and set aside.
Combine brown sugar and granulated sugar, butter and vanilla extract; beat until creamy.
Add eggs; beat well.
Add dry ingredients; mix well.
Stir in semi-sweet chocolate mini chips and chopped nuts. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Makes approximately 6 dozen cookies.
