Bread Pudding With Apples And Raisins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    3 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 to 8 slices dry bread, cubed
    1/2 c. chopped apple
    1/3 c. raisins
    1/4 c. melted butter and 1 c. brown sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Beat together eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and salt. In a round baking dish, add bread, apples and raisins.
    Pour egg mixture over all.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 40 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
    For a change, add the melted butter and sugar on bottom of dish.
    Make bread pudding with apples and raisins as directed.
    Cool.
    Turn dish upside down over another dish.
    The pudding will have a caramel type topping. Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
