Hash Brown Potato Pie - cooking recipe

5 large eggs
1/2 c. milk
3 c. Ore-Ida country style hash browns, thawed
1/3 c. green onions, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
4 slices bacon or 1/3 c. real bacon bits
Preparation

Beat together eggs and milk. Stir in hash browns, onion, salt and hot pepper sauce. Stir in 1 cup of the cheese and half of the bacon. Pour into a greased 9-inch pie plate or quiche dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes until center is set. Sprinkle remaining cheese and bacon over the top. Continue to bake 3 to 4 minutes until cheese is melted.
