Pecan Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves, ground
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar and beat until fluffy.
    Add beaten eggs.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk to butter mixture.
    Fold in pecans.
    Bake in a well-greased lightly floured tube pan (9-inch).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until straw inserted comes out clean.
    Cool in pan 10 minutes before removing.
    This can be baked and stored for a couple of days.
    Keep cool.
