Mama Fisackerly Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine, softened
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine margarine, sugar, vanilla and egg.
    Mix well.
    Add flour slowly.
    Form into balls on a greased cookie sheet.
    Flatten with a fork dipped in sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown on edge (15 to 20 minutes).
