Grandma Honey'S Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter, softened
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
confectioners sugar for dusting
2 Tbsp. water
4 large Tbsp. sugar
2 c. flour

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add remaining ingredients.
Roll into balls the size of quarters. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes until lightly browned.
Cool.
Roll in confectioners sugar. Yields 36 cookies.
