Sauerkraut Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    salt and pepper
    1 can tomato soup
    1 (1 lb.) can sauerkraut
    1/2 c. raw rice
Preparation
    Brown the meat; add onions and cook a few minutes.
    Add soup, sauerkraut and rice.
    Bake covered 1 hour at 300\u00b0, then 1 1/2 hours, uncovered.
    Serve with rye bread.
