Roasted Turnips, Onions And Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. turnips, cut into 1-inch cubes
    3 carrots, peeled and cut diagonally into 1-inch pieces
    14 small boiling onions, peeled
    8 garlic cloves
    4 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 tsp. minced, fresh savory or marjoram or 1/4 tsp. dried
    1 c. fresh bread crumbs
    1/2 garlic clove, pressed
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Combine turnips, carrots, onions and 8 whole garlic cloves in a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.
    Drizzle vegetables with 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
    Sprinkle with savory. Season with salt and pepper and toss well.
    Bake until vegetables are almost tender, about 45 minutes.
