Foolproof White Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. white chocolate
    Eagle Brand milk
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped candied cherries (red and green)
    1 c. walnuts
Preparation
    In heavy saucepan, melt white chocolate with milk.
    Remove from heat; stir in salt, vanilla, cherries for color and walnuts. Spread evenly onto wax paper-lined 8-inch square pan.
    Chill 2 or 3 hours.
    Turn fudge onto cutting board.
    Pull off wax paper and cut into squares.
    (Store at room temperature.)
