Ambrosia - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 apples, diced and cored, not peeled
    4 oranges, peeled and diced
    1 can pineapple chunks, drained
    1 can diced pears, drained
    1 can diced peaches, drained
    1 small jar maraschino cherries, cut in half and drained, (reserve cherry juice)
    2/3 c. shredded coconut
    1/4 c. walnuts or pecans
    1 Tbsp. sugar (depending)
    1 bag miniature marshmallows
Preparation
    Mix all together.
    Add tiny marshmallows and refrigerate. When serving, add 3 to 4 bananas.
