German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 potatoes
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 tsp. chopped parsley
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. caraway seed
    1/4 tsp. marjoram
    1 bay leaf
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Peel and cut raw potatoes into quarters and then into 1/2-inch slices.
    Put in pot and barely cover with water.
    Add onion, parsley, salt, caraway, marjoram and bay leaf.
    Cook until potatoes are soft.
    Make a roux from the butter and flour and add a little water from the cooked potatoes to thin.
    Add this back to the potato mixture to thicken.
    Stir in vinegar as desired for taste.
