Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 lb. hash brown potatoes (frozen)
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 pt. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. crushed cornflakes or Ritz crackers
    1/2 stick margarine, melted
Preparation
    Melt margarine and saute onion; add potatoes, soup, cheese, sour cream and seasonings.
    Pour into buttered casserole dish. Mix melted margarine with crumbs.
    Pat into a crust, covering potatoes, during the last 10 minutes of baking.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
