Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
6 to 7 Tbsp. cold water
2/3 c. shortening
1 hunk butter
1 tsp. sugar
sprinkle of cinnamon
Preparation

Mix flour, salt, cold water and shortening like for pie crust. Cut up apples and place in center.
Add butter, sugar and cinnamon.
Shape the dough around apple.
Jag around sides and top with fork.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
Could possibly even take 1 hour. Keep checking.
