Chinese Whatsit(Or You Name It Casserole) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. ground beef
    salt and pepper to taste
    dash of sugar
    2 c. celery, coarsely chopped
    2 c. onion, coarsely chopped
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas (unthawed)
    5 1/2 oz. potato chips
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 soup can water
Preparation
    Saute beef; add salt and pepper to taste and a dash of sugar. Place cooked beef in a 9 1/2 x 13-inch baking casserole.
    Combine celery and onion and layer evenly over beef.
    Break up frozen peas and make another layer.
    (Celery, onion and peas may be combined to make 1 layer together.)
    Spread crushed potato chips over vegetables.
    Dilute soup with water and pour over all ingredients. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
