Whole-Wheat Apple Cinnamon Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 apple
1 c. plain yogurt
1/4 c. dark brown sugar
1 egg
2 Tbsp. molasses
2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

In a mixing bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients.
Peel the apple and grate it into another bowl.
Stir in the yogurt and the sugar until the sugar dissolves.
Stir in the egg, molasses, oil and 1/4 cup water.
Stir the flour mixture into the yogurt mixture until just combined.
The muffin batter will be lumpy.
Spoon into prepared muffin pans.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until edges start to brown, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Make ahead and freeze.
Great for breakfast.
