Banana Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
    3/4 cup margarine (softened)
    1/2 cups walnuts (chopped)
    1 3/4 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
    1 egg (beaten)
    1 cup mashed very ripe bananas (2 -3)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    Lightly grease to large baking sheets with butter or vegetable shortening.
    Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg.
    Using a pastry blender or two forks, work the margarine into flour mixture until
    thoroughly mixed.
    Mix the chopped walnuts with the oatmeal.
    Stir into flour mixture.
    Beat in egg and bananas.
    Mix well.
    Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of batter onto baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
    Bake for 12 - 15 minutes, or until the cookies have browned around the edges.
    Remove from oven.
    Cool cookies for 2 - 3 minutes and transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
