Congo Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. margarine
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Sift together flour, salt and baking powder; set aside.
    Melt margarine and add to brown sugar.
    Mix well and let cool slightly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add dry ingredients and mix well.
    Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
    Bake in large 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 3/4-inch greased jelly roll pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
