Penne With Tomato Cream Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (28 oz.) can Italian plum tomatoes with juice
    1 c. heavy cream
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 1/2 tsp. dried tarragon
    1 lb. penne
    6 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese (fresh), grated
    1 lb. sausage (sweet or hot), casings discarded
Preparation
    Brown sausage meat; put aside.
    In a heavy saucepan, combine the tomatoes with juice, cream, garlic and tarragon; bring the liquid to a boil, breaking up the tomatoes.
    Add sausage; simmer mixture for 25 to 30 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
    Cook penne 12 to 15 minutes in boiling water; drain well.
    Toss with tomato sauce.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
