Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 heaping Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. warm water
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    plain flour
Preparation
    Place these ingredients in a small bowl; let stand about 15 minutes.
    Add enough plain sifted flour to make a stiff dough. Place in a greased bowl.
    Let rise until doubled in bulk.
    Work down with hands and make into rolls.
    Let rolls rise 15 to 20 minutes.
    Brush lightly with margarine.
    Bake in a hot oven (450\u00b0) until brown, 12 to 15 minutes.
