Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup flour (plain)
    1 cup sugar
    5 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 cup shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 cup nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
    Beat for 3 minutes.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in a 6 inch square pan.
