Crab Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raw potatoes, peeled and cubed
    1 c. onion, sliced
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 lb. crabmeat
    2 (17 oz.) cans creamed corn
    1 Tbsp. minced parsley
    black pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. hot pepper flakes (can substitute dried marjoram or dill)
Preparation
    In a large pot, about a 3-quart size, combine potatoes, onion, water and salt.
    Bring to a boil.
    Keep covered about 10 minutes. Add milk, crabmeat, corn, parsley and other seasonings.
    Cook over low heat until piping hot.
    Serves 6 to 8.
