Chicken Baked In Sour Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 1/2 lb.) frying chicken, cut in pieces
    flour (for dredging)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. water
    1/4 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Dredge chicken in flour.
    In a large skillet, heat butter and brown chicken.
    Transfer to a casserole. Add mushrooms and sour cream diluted with water.
    Sprinkle with thyme and cover tightly.
    Bake until chicken is tender, about 1 hour.
    Serve with fluffy rice.
