Cheesy Garlic Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 c. thinly sliced green onions with tops
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 loaf French bread (20-inch), halved lengthwise
    1/3 c. minced, fresh parsley (optional)
Preparation
    Mix mayonnaise, cheese, onions and garlic; spread on bread halves.
    If desired, spread with parsley.
    Wrap each half in foil. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours or freeze.
    Unwrap and place on baking sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes (20 to 25 minutes if frozen) or until puffed but not brown.
    Cut into slices.
    Serves 12 to 15.
