Pecan Cream Cheese Pie - cooking recipe

2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
3/4 c. dark corn syrup
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
3 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
Preparation

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese on medium speed until smooth. Add 1/2 cup sugar, 1 of the eggs,1 teaspoon of the vanilla and the salt. Beat just until combined. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto bottom of the pastry. Spread pecans over the cream cheese mixture.
