Apple-Cabbage Mold - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin
    2 c. hot water
    1/2 c. shredded cabbage
    4 tsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. diced unpeeled apple
    1/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in water according to package directions. Chill until slightly thickened.
    Combine cabbage, vinegar and salt; let stand 20 minutes.
    Fold cabbage, apples and nuts into gelatin and turn into oiled mold.
    Chill until set.
    Unmold on crisp lettuce.
