Frost Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs, separated (save the egg white)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add beaten egg yolks and the sifted dry ingredients.
    Add vanilla.
    Mix well and spread the beaten butter into a baking sheet as thin as possible.
