Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. peaches
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix peaches and 1/2 cup of sugar and set aside.
    Set oven to 350\u00b0.
    Put margarine in deep baking dish and set in oven to melt. Make batter of other ingredients and pour over melted margarine; do not stir.
    Put sugared peaches on top of batter; do not stir.
    Bake until crust is light brown.
    Peaches will sink to bottom.
    Can serve ice cream on top.
