Doughy White Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 egg
    2 c. warm milk
    1 cake yeast
Preparation
    Melt butter and allow to cool.
    Follow package directions to activate yeast.
    Sift flour, sugar and salt.
    Combine with egg. Add butter and milk.
    Add yeast last.
    Beat well.
    Return to bowl and let rise covered for one hour or until doubled.
    Shape into two loaves and let rise in pans.
    Brush with melted butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown, approximately 30 minutes.
