Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cornmeal
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    3 c. buttermilk
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. salt
    6 tsp. baking powder
    2 cans Mexican corn or 1 large can whole kernel corn
    2 large onions, chopped
    2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed
    1/2 c. oil (hot)
Preparation
    Mix first 8 ingredients in large bowl.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Pour in hot pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
