Texas Straw Hats - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. ground beef
1 c. diced onions
1 c. diced green pepper
1 c. diced celery
2 to 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 large can tomato paste
2 cans water
2 Tbsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
2 c. cheese, shredded (Colby, Jack or Cheddar)
Preparation

Brown ground beef in one skillet and drain.
Meanwhile, saute onions, pepper and celery in 3 tablespoons cooking oil just until onions are clear and celery is still crisp.
Combine browned beef with sauteed veggies in a large pot.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer 20 minutes.
Serve over Fritos and top with grated cheese.
Serves 6 + as main dish or many more when used as a \"Dip\" for holiday parties!
