Apple Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 large apples
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Work first four ingredients like a pie crust (leave crumbly). Put 2/3 into a 9 x 13-inch pan and press down lightly.
    Slice apples on top.
    (If keeping apples very close you will need 7 or 8 to fill pan evenly.)
    Mix the last 3 ingredients in a dish; add this mixture and cover the entire apple pan.
    Add the remaining pie crust on top to cover.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    (Check on apple softness; different apples take a longer period of time for baking.)
