Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. squash
    1 can mushroom soup
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. grated cheese
    1 large onion
    3 boiled eggs, chopped
    16 saltine crackers, crushed
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut
    the squash and onion.
    Boil
    until
    tender.
    Drain and mash.
    Add
    salt,\tpepper, eggs, soup,
    butter
    and
    1/2 cracker crumbs;
    mix well.\tLayer 1/2 of the squash mixture in a dish. Sprinkle this with 1 cup of cheese.
    Spread remaining squash
    on top of cheese and sprinkle\tthe
    remaining\tcracker crumbs on squash.
    Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the crackers. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
