Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. light brown sugar
    1/2 lb. butter
    1/2 lb. chocolate squares
    1 pt. whipping cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix the ingredients all together except vanilla.
    Cook over medium heat for 1/2 hour, stirring constantly, or until it forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
    Add the vanilla and beat by hand for 1 minute.
    Then pour into a buttered pan.
    Cut into inch squares.
