Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3 ripe bananas
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add vanilla and mix well.
Add eggs and beat until light and fluffy.
Sift flour, soda and salt together.
Set aside.
Mash bananas and combine with water.
Add bananas and sifted ingredients alternately to creamed mixture, beating well after each addition.
Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
