Fried Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
1 large can Milnot (12 oz. evaporated milk will do)
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Add Milnot to which egg has been added.
Mix well and chill overnight.
Roll out thin on lightly floured board and cut circles.
Place between wax paper.
These can be made ahead of time.
If they are wrapped, they will not dry out.
