Banana Oatmeal Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine, softened
1 egg, beaten
1 c. rolled oats
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. allspice
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 medium bananas, chopped
Preparation

Cream together butter and brown sugar.
Mix in egg and buttermilk.
Mix together oats, flour, baking powder, salt and allspice.
Add to creamed mixture.
Stir in bananas.
Spoon into greased muffin pan, filling 3/4 full.
Bake at 400\u00b0 to 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 12 muffins.
