Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. shortening
2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. mashed bananas
Preparation

Sift together all the dry ingredients and set aside.
Cream the shortening and gradually add the sugar.
Continue to cream until light and fluffy.
Add and beat well the eggs.
Add alternately to the mixture the bananas and the flour mix.
Beat all until smooth.
Turn into a well-greased bread pan and bake for one hour at 350\u00b0 or until bread is done.
Yields 1 loaf.
