Blanche'S Pickle Ginny - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. green tomatoes, ground
    4 qt. ripe tomatoes
    2 large heads cabbage
    3 large green peppers
    4 large red peppers
    2 bunches celery
    6 large onions
    1/2 c. salt
    4 lb. brown sugar
    1 c. horseradish
    1 Tbsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 qt. vinegar
Preparation
    Let green tomatoes stand overnight; drain, then peel tomatoes; grind peppers, celery, cabbage and onions.
    Add brown sugar, horseradish, pepper, mustard seed and vinegar.
    Boil 15 minutes and seal in hot jars.
