Molasses Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

1 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. molasses
1 c. raisins
2 c. oats
Preparation

Sift together flour, soda, salt and spices.
Cream the shortening.
Beat in sugar. Blend in egg and molasses. Beat well. Stir in sifted ingredients. Fold in raisins and rolled oats. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart on lightly greased or Pam sprayed cookie sheet.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Let stand 1 minute. Remove to cooling rack.
