Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. boiling water
2 c. 100% Bran cereal
3 c. sugar
1 c. and 2 Tbsp. shortening
4 eggs, beaten
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. plain flour
5 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
4 c. All-Bran cereal
1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
-
Pour water over 100% Bran and mix in order given.
Mixture may be stored in airtight container and baked when needed.
Bake in greased muffin pans.
Grease lightly even if they are teflon lined.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
