Frosted Toffee Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Quaker oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    In a medium bowl, combine oats, sugar and margarine; mix well. Spread in a greased 9-inch square pan.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 13 minutes, or until light golden brown; cool.
    In a small, heavy saucepan over low heat (or in microwave), melt chips.
    Spread over oat mixture; sprinkle with nuts.
    Refrigerate until chocolate is set.
    Cut into 2 x 1 1/2-inch bars.
    Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
    Makes about 2 dozen bars.
