Walnut Butter Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped
    6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped
    2 Tbsp. + 1 tsp. corn syrup
Preparation
    Melt butter over low heat; add sugar, stirring constantly until dissolved.
    Add water and syrup.
    Cook on low until brittle (290\u00b0).
    Remove from heat; stir in walnuts.
    Spread in greased jellyroll pan; cool until hard.
    Melt chocolate and pour over crunch; sprinkle with finely chopped nuts.
    Elevate pan to cool so it doesn't continue to cook.
