Zucchini Squash Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. shredded squash
    4 c. onions
    1/2 c. green pepper (sweet)
    1/2 c. red pepper (sweet)
    5 Tbsp. salt
    4 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt over squash, onions and peppers.
    Let stand overnight.
    Rinse and drain well.
    Bring remaining ingredients to a full boil.
    Pack in sterile jars.
    Seal.
