Creamed Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. whole chicken
    water to cover
    salt to taste
    1 1/4 c. flour and water to mix
Preparation
    Cook the chicken in enough water to cover until tender.
    Pick off bone, return chicken to broth.
    Bring to a boil.
    Thicken with flour mixture.
    This amount depends on the thickness you want. Cook and stir well.
    A few drops of yellow food coloring adds color.
    Serve over biscuits or mashed potatoes.
