Vegetable Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    4 c. hot water
    1 (No. 3) can tomatoes
    1 c. sliced celery
    2 bouillon cubes
    1/2 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 can mixed vegetables
    1 c. egg noodles
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute beef and onions in margarine in large saucepan until meat is browned.
    Add tomatoes, water, celery, bouillon cubes, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil; cover and simmer 30 minutes.
    Add mixed vegetables, noodles and thyme.
    Bring to a boil; cover and simmer 15 minutes.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
